Double-sided tape will work just fine if you make sure all surfaces to be glued together have even contact before pressing firmly with both hands.

Can I use crayons on craft foam?

Unless you’re going for a distressed look, we don’t recommend using crayons as they will create pock marks and the color might not evenly distribute. Acrylic paint is ideal for adding color to your craft foam.

How do I hang craft foam ornaments?

Affix quilting fork pins or u-shaped hooks to the foam and then thread string, organza ribbon, jute twine, leather strands, or suede cord. You can also use a quilting needle to thread fine yarn or twine directly through the shape.

What embellishments can I use? What is the best way to apply them?

Glue is an excellent way to apply glitter, fabric, strings of pearls, crystal rhinestones, tiny satin bows, poms-poms, lace, sequins, fabric flowers, moss, and more. Stick pearlized ball head pins and plastic and metal studs directly into the shapes.

Can I use spray paint on craft foam?

It depends. Certain spray paints can erode craft foam over time. Acrylic paint is ideal to add color to your craft foam.
